加拿大汽车零部件制造商协会（APMA）会长

Steve Rodgers 先生自2010 年1 月份作为加拿大汽车零配件制造商协会会长。加

拿大汽车零配件制造商协会（以下简称APMA）是国家协会，由OEM 制造商组成，为

全世界汽车工业提供汽车零部件、设备、工具、用品及服务。

Steve Rodgers 先生在全球领先的汽车零部件供应商麦格纳国际公司任职的22

年，和在加拿大通用汽车公司任职的7 年，使他对于全球汽车产业有了一个非常广泛而

全面认识。在加入APMA 之前，Rodgers 先生成立了GS 全球解决方案，这个公司旨在

Steve Rodgers, joined APMA in January, 2010 as President. APMA is Canada’s

national association representing OEM producers of parts, equipment, tools, supplies

and services for the worldwide automotive industry.

A 22 year career with leading automotive parts supplier Magna International and a 7

year career with General Motors of Canada has provided Steve Rodgers with a very

comprehensive and wide-ranging insight into the global automotive industry. Prior to

joining APMA, Steve founded GS Global Solutions, a company focused on finding

solutions to deal with the rapidly changing automotive industry including such

challenges as global integration, supply chain transformation and changing technology

including hybrid technologies and powertrain evolution. Steve served as the Chairman

of the Automotive Parts Manufacturers Association (APMA) from 2005-2007, is a

member of the Board of Directors of both Exco Technologies and the ZENN Motor

Company, the Chairman of the GreenARC Industry Working Group and serves on the

Advisory Board of Optessa.

At the time of his departure from Magna, Steve was Vice President, Global Business

Development covering the Asia-Pacific region focused on the countries of Japan,

Korea, China, India and Thailand. Steve joined the Magna Corporate Office in August

2003 as Vice-President, Marketing and was appointed to the Asia focused position in

September 2006. Prior to his appointment to the Magna Corporate Office, Mr. Rodgers

served as Senior Vice-President, Marketing for Intier Automotive and Vice-President,

Sales and Marketing at both Tesma and later, Atoma. He also served as the Assistant

General Manager at Karmax Heavy Stamping within the Cosma Group. Steve joined

Magna when their sales were $400 Million and was an active member of management

as they morphed into the world’s third largest Tier 1 Automotive supplier with sales

exceeding $24 Billion.
